Refund Policy

Payment, subscription, and refund terms

1. Introduction

At Redscraper, we offer two distinct types of products to meet our customers' data extraction and prospecting needs: Desktop Software and Cloud-Based Tools.

Because the nature and delivery of these products differ significantly, our refund terms vary depending on the specific product you have purchased. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights regarding refunds and subscription cancellations.

2. Cloud Version Refunds

Our cloud-based tools operate on a standard subscription and credit-based model. We want you to be fully satisfied with your online subscription, and we offer refunds under the following conditions:

7-Day Window Cloud subscriptions are eligible for a refund within 7 days from the original payment date.
Used Credits Are Deducted Any cloud credits that have already been used toward searches, exports, or verifications are strictly non-refundable. The retail cost of any used credits will be automatically deducted from your total requested refund amount.
Unused Credits Only completely unused credits remaining in your account within the 7-day window are eligible to be refunded.

3. Desktop Version Refunds

All purchases of Redscraper Desktop Software are final and strictly non-refundable. By purchasing a desktop software license, you accept this no-refund policy with no exceptions.

We provide the desktop version as a high-value, locally installed application that includes:

  • Unlimited data scraping and extraction capabilities
  • Built-in proxy routing and evasion infrastructure
  • Significantly lower lifetime/annual pricing compared to equivalent cloud scraping alternatives

Because the desktop software provides instantaneous and unrestricted access to our core scraping technology immediately upon delivery, we cannot revoke that access or offer refunds after the purchase is complete. We strongly encourage all users to utilize our free trials and request live consultation demonstrations to ensure the software meets your operational requirements prior to finalizing a purchase.

4. Subscription & Payments

For cloud products, payments are processed automatically according to your chosen billing cycle (e.g., monthly). Upon successful payment, your account is allotted a specific number of credits used to operate the cloud tools. Credits reset or roll over strictly according to the terms of your specific subscription tier.

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your cloud subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by emailing our support team prior to your next payment processing day. Cancellation only stops future billing.

Canceling your subscription does not automatically trigger a refund for prior payments. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your cloud account and any remaining credits until the end of your currently paid billing cycle. At the end of that cycle, Redscraper will cease charging you and will disable your paid account features.

6. Refund Exceptions

Redscraper reserves the right to automatically deny refund requests in certain situations, including but not limited to:

  • Refund requests made after the 7-day window for cloud subscriptions has expired.
  • Accounts suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policies (e.g., abusive scraping behavior).
  • Users attempting to abuse the refund policy by repeatedly purchasing, using, and refunding cloud subscriptions.
  • Any purchase involving Redscraper Desktop Software, as explicitly outlined in Section 3.
